  Dear fellow parishioners: There has been much interest recently about cemetery spaces that are available for sale. The offers made by Forsyth Memorial Park/Dignity Memorial (FMP) that were presented at the last General Assembly unfortunately have expired. Currently, our Annunciation Church owns 12 spaces in Section 19, enough for six couples. Each space is for one individual and includes both the space and opening and closing services (digging and refilling the grave.)  The Church’s price for parishioners is $4400 per space.  For anyone who purchases these spaces, FMP has agreed to allow you to  transfer your spaces to the new area at the top of the hill of Section 20 , where the current maintenance area is located. According to FMP, this new area is scheduled to open within the next 12-18 months. These church-owned spaces can only be purchased directly from the church. John Stabolitis  February 13, 1940 - March 14, 2024 It is with sadness, but with hope in the Resurrection, that we inform you that our beloved brother in Christ,  John Stabolitis , has fallen asleep in the Lord.  The funeral service will be held 12:00 noon at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox  Church on Monday, March 18, 2024 with Rev. Fr. George Kouzelis and Rev. Fr. Constantine  Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends  from 10am - 12pm at the Church before the funeral. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to  Trellis Supportive Care for their compassionate assistance during this challenging time. Their  kindness and support were a beacon of light during our darkest moments. With the blessings of his Eminence Metropolitan Alexios, we are very pleased to announce that Archimandrite father Anastasios of Cameroon will be visiting our parish this coming Saturday. It is with sadness, but with hope in the resurrection, that we inform you that our beloved sister in Christ,  Julia Zakinthinakis Pappas , has fallen asleep in the Lord.
