A MORE DETAILED UPDATE IN REGARDS TO THE RE-OPENING OF OURANNUNCIATION CHURCH ON BEHALF OF THE CLERGY & THE PARISH COUNCILOur beloved parishioners, friends, and stewards of the Annunciation Church, Christ is Risen! Χριστός Ανέστη!We are delighted to announce you that your unique prayers have been heard. Once again, our Risen Lord, and Savior God, Jesus Christ, proved that He is the Only One, Who has the last word on everything. Once again, Jesus Christ proved that He is the eternal Winner, because He "went forth conquering, and to conquer" (Revelation 6:2). Therefore, filled with joy, we are pleased to inform you that, by the Grace of God, we have the Blessing of the Holy Metropolis of Atlanta to reopen our Annunciation Church to all the parishioners, beginning on this coming Sunday, May31st, 2020. AN IMPORTANT UPDATE IN REGARDS TO THE RE-OPENING OF OUR ANNUNCIATION CHURCH ON BEHALF OF THE CLERGY & THE PARISH COUNCIL Our beloved parishioners, friends, and stewards of the Annunciation Church, Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!  We are delighted to announce you that your unique prayers have been heard. Once again, our Risen Lord, and Savior God, Jesus Christ, proved that He is the Only One, Who has the last word on everything. Once again, Jesus Christ proved that He is the Lord of the history. Therefore, filled with joy, we are happy to inform you that, by the Grace of God, we have the Blessing of the Holy Metropolis of Atlanta to reopen our Church to all the parishioners, beginning on Sunday, May 31st. Nonetheless, this is not a complete reopening, and it will be subject to temporary directives, which our Metropolis, out of sense of pastoral responsibility, has issued, in order to help and insure the health and safety of ALL. FR. GEORGE'S MESSAGE IN REGARDS TO MOTHER'S DAY! In order to better understand "Mother's Day" and what it really means, we need first to understand the unique person in our life called "mother". Mother is one who, in cooperation with God's Grace, nurtures us in her womb for nine months and brings us forth to enjoy the ultimate blessing on earth, i.e. life. Mother is one who guides us through our infancy and continually tries, with the Grace of God, to turn the soft and helpless child into the strong and self-supporting us! She is protecting us and helping us. She is serving us sacrificially and silently, always with a smile on her face. She feels so blessed to watch us grow and always provides us a shoulder to lean on whenever we need it. At the same time, my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, it is very beneficial for ALL always to remember our unique and common Mother, i.e. the Most Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, our beloved Pa…
