Είναι ημέρα αγιασμού και πνευματικής ευφροσύνης των Ορθοδόξων Χριστιανών. Η ευαγγελική επιβεβαίωση του Θεού Πατέρα για το Μεσσιανικό έργο του Χριστού επί της γης, αποτελεί σημαντικό κίνητρο για κάθε έναν από εμάς, να «αναβαπτίσουμε» τα θρησκευτικά μας πιστεύω και να ανακαλύψουμε ξανά το νόημα της Χριστιαν o σύνης στην επίγεια ζωή μας.
