With these exact words in mind, our Mother's Discussion Group met for the first time this year. Our year will be focused on Saint Porphyrio's book, "Wounded by Love". Our First Meeting was on Sept. 20th!
"Timothy, my son, I am reminded of your sincere faith, faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lo' and your mother, Eunice, and assuredly dwells in you also." ~ 2 Timothy 1:5
For many of us, our grandparents are the ones who plant the seed of our Faith within us, and they usually are the ones who, outside of the Church, cultivate and nurture our spiritual formation.
With this spirit we have begun a new ministry in our Church. Our Grandparents Discussion Group will meet once a month on a Thursday to discuss what it means to be a grandparent in the light of the Church.
We thank all those who came and we hope to see even more of you come at our next meeting!

The available dates for photo shoot appointments are Friday, December 2nd through Monday, December 5th. Appointments during these days will be on a first come, first serve basis, so be sure to sign up quickly for the time slot that works best for your family. We will also have sign - ups after the Divine Liturgy, in the breezeway, on Sundays.
