For the Feast of Sts. Athanasios the Great and Cyril, Patriarchs of Alexandria
January 18th
With Your incomprehensible hand and Your ineffable might, now making the Church heavenly, You showed the two lights, grand and resplendent, indeed to be bright, illumining the world, the all-wise Athanasios and Cyril the divine. So at their entreaty, lift the darkness and dispel all the enemies' gloom, O Savior, and illumine the multitude of believers with Your awesome light, so that they cry and shout to You; "Save us, O Good One, who faithfully honor You."
-Matins Service this Tuesday January 18th celebrating Athanasios the Great and Cyril, Patriarchs of Alexandria
