Information regarding SPAM emails

Dear Parishioners,

 

It has come to our attention that some parishioners have received emails that at first glance look  like emails sent from Father George.  Please do not open an email that starts with the words, "Pastor George".  These are spam emails.

 

Please be advised that Father George's true, legitimate email is:  frgeorge@wsgoc.org. 

 

We thank you for your understanding and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Falling Asleep of Fotini Bobocharis

Fotini Bobocharis March 27, 1929 -  July 25, 2024 It is with sadness, but with hope in the Resurrection, that we inform you that our beloved sister in Christ, Fotini Demetrios Bobocharis, 95, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after many visits with family and friends.  Fotini was born on March 27, 1929, in Karpenisi, Evrytania, Greece to the late Demetrios Bobocharis and Artemisia Chamis. She grew up in Karpenisi, Greece where her parents owned the town’s successful bakery. Fotini survived two wars while living in Greece, but she persevered and came to the United States with her sister Marika in 1955 to begin a new life filled with opportunities that the U.S. could give them. Fotini was a proud Greek woman, a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend.
